Is the author of nine books, including Achieve College Success and Achieve Career Success. He has a Master’s Degree in Psychology and taught college and career success courses at Austin Community College (ACC) for fourteen years. Raymond has trained high school teachers and college professors how to use his books to teach college and career success courses.
Raymond has over 50 years of experience helping others with self- and career development. Career counselor, training specialist, job placement specialist, and vocational rehabilitation counselor, he has also owned an executive search and recruiting business, and has conducted numerous seminars in human resources and career development.
Raymond was once an at-risk student which is one reason why he is deeply passionate about helping students to achieve college and career success. He came out of retirement in 2006 to teach college and career success courses at ACC and actively taught classes at ACC until he was 79 years old.
Dedicated to personal, professional and spiritual development, Raymond shares inspirational and practical ideas for living a fulfilled and purposeful life. His goal now is to reach and help more students through educators who use his books for teaching college and career success courses. Making their home in Austin, Texas, he and his wife Bonnie write books that raise conscious awareness, increase kindness, develop character and encourage people to make a positive difference for others.
